Here are the most important things added to Tobiano in April!
- Gates – All paddocks now have gates you can ride or walk through. It’s a minor change but improves immersion, better than just riding through fences!
- Ponying and leading – the player can now lead horses from the ground or while riding. This is needed for a lot of quests moving forward.
- Passage and piaffe can now be ridden from a collected halt if you half halt enough times. This makes for a more natural feeling transition. This was suggested by a player, and I can’t believe I didn’t think of it sooner
- Added trail rides! Users can now click trail signs to start a trail, which then shows markers to guide you through the paths. There will be daily quests to ride trails for gold rewards
- Added tons of hair colors and clothes for the player! After improving the set-up of the player character, it’s now much easier to add things like clothes, hairstyles and animations. The horse is next, and I’ll be adding more saddle pads and bandages. I asked for color requests on Discord and social media and got tons of feedback from you all.
